Your dog will have plenty of space to run around in one of our outdoor play yards. With over 5,000 sq ft of outside yard we have room for all sizes and style of play. When you pick up your dog after a day of doggie daycare, you’ll find your companion to be calm, content, and ready to relax with you

Exercise Body & mind

Rather than worry your dog is bored, not getting enough exercise and/or damaging belongings or furnishings while you are away at work, choose to give your dog a fun place to go while you are away. At Citizen Canine, we have tailored our dog daycare services and activities to meet your dog’s needs.

How To Sign Up for Dog Daycare

Our Dog Daycare program welcomes socialized dogs and puppies that are current on their vaccinations. We require a complimentary interview to learn your dogs social behavior and medical history prior to your dogs first day of daycare

To enjoy Citizen Canine Dog Daycare services, canine guests must be:

  • A minimum of 16 weeks old.
  • Current on age-appropriate vaccinations. All guests must provide proof of DHLPP, Rabies, Canine Influenza, and Bordetella. Bordetella is an intranasal or injectable vaccine for canine cough that should be administered a minimum of 7 days prior to daycare. Similar to a flu shot, Bordetella covers only a few strains of canine cough and is not a guarantee of immunity.
  • Well-socialized and friendly to people and other dogs. Canine guests who are not friendly with people or other dogs may not be eligible to participate in our programs.
  • Spayed /Neutered if over 7 months. Intact male or female dogs over 7 months of age may not be eligible to participate in any of our programs.
  • Have completed a consultation at our facility with a trained behavior evaluator. We use this time to learn about each canine guest’s social, behavioral and medical history, explain our services, answer your questions, and give you a tour of our facility. The consultation also gives you and your dog a chance to “sniff us out.”

What Clients Have Said

"I can’t recommend Citzen Canine enough! The place is spotless, smells clean and our dog absolutely loves it there. The staff is very nice and my dog, who is generally shy, loves everyone there."

- Tina C.

“It is very rare to find a dog care facility whose handlers are truly worthy of the name. You guys get dogs! I trust you to facilitate play, interact positively with my dogs, and know when behavior signals the need for intervention of various kinds, including that of a vet. Although I appreciate your cleanliness, roomy housing, and large play areas, it's the staff that keeps me coming back, and makes me wish I could come back more.”

- Leanne R.

Citizen Canine has made a world of difference in our dog's life -- I don't know what we'd do without you!  Our girl is a rescue dog who was abandoned by her previous owners, and when we first adopted her she was terrified to be left alone.  Being able to bring her for daycare when we're both working has helped her become a well-adjusted, happy pup.  She is always thrilled to come play with her human and canine friends!  We also love having a safe, reliable place for her to stay when we're out of town and can't take her with us.  Everyone at Citizen Canine clearly loves and understands dogs, and knows they are precious family members.  Thank you for providing such a compassionate, loving "second home" for our special girl!
