Citizen Canine is located at 420 Hegenberger Road in Oakland, 1 block west of the 880 freeway. We share a building with the Oakland SPCA‘s Spay and Neuter Clinic, at the corner of Hegenberger Road and Hegenberger Loop. Our parking lot entrance is behind the building

From Berkeley: Take the 80 West to the 980 to the 880 South. Take the Hegenberger Road exit and turn right onto Hegenberger Road. Get into the left turn lane at the first light, make a left turn onto Hegenberger Loop, and an immediate right turn into our parking lot.

From San Francisco: Take 80 East over the Bay Bridge. Stay in the right lane and follow signs for 880 South to San Jose. Take the Hegenberger Road exit and turn right onto Hegenberger Road. Get into the left turn lane at the first light, make a left turn onto Hegenberger Loop, and an immediate right turn into our parking lot.

From the South Bay: Take 880 North to the Hegenberger Road exit. Make two left turns to get onto Hegenberger Road heading west, and go over the freeway. Get into the left turn lane at the first light, make a left turn onto Hegenberger Loop, and an immediate right turn into our parking lot.

From Alameda: Take Doolittle Drive south to Hegenberger Road. Take a left on Hegenberger (heading away from the airport). At the third set of lights just before the 880 freeway entrance, make a right turn onto Hegenberger Loop, and an immediate right turn into our parking lot.
