Citizen Canine offers a uniquely designed facility and trained staff that cater to each dog’s personality. For overnight boarders, we focus on establishing a balanced routine filled with ample exercise, regular potty walks, relaxation time and nutritious meals.

Each dog guest enjoys a climate-controlled, private, indoor room, furnished with a raised bed and bedding. Individually prepared meals are served up to 3 times per day depending on your dog’s age and appetite. Fresh water is provided at all times.

Every dog enjoys at least two extended play groups daily, plus early morning and late evening potty trips in our spacious 6,000 sq ft of play yards. Your dog can romp with new friends, play fetch, explore the tunnels and slides of the play sets, or splash in the pool!  Each yard has covered areas and is filled with soft K9Grass, a paw-friendly material that’s also kind on the joints.

Veterinarians, behaviorists and trainers recommend 17 hours of rest per day for dogs (more for puppies) to reduce stress, improve the learning process and sustain healthy mental and physical development. Therefore relaxing naptimes in their private rooms between activities is an important part of each day for all dog boarding guests.

First time boarders get extra attention to help them settle in and get comfortable. Active, go-getter dogs will enjoy socializing with new friends, both human and canine, while burning off their energy during frequent romps in the yard. Individual training, massage, love or extra play sessions can be added and tailored to your dog’s needs. You will see the positive impact of this balance from the moment your best friend is back in your arms.
