Citizen Canine guest sniffs love in a new book for kids!
Seven years ago, our staff found an abandoned dog in a nearby parking lot. They brought him back to Citizen Canine, where he was fostered until he was eventually adopted by our client Amanda Giacomini, who named him Mahatma (but calls him Mo).
Amanda has now illustrated a book for children called Mo Smells Red. The book features beautiful ink drawings of Mo as well as a special technology which allows kids to “press and sniff” the different scents that Mo smells.
You can purchase the book in our lobby or by visiting www.mosnose.com and a portion of the sale proceeds will be donated to animal rescue groups.
Congratulations to Amanda and Mo for this beautiful story. We think Mo’s official biography says it best: "Technically Mo is a rescued dog, but he’s such a loyal and loving companion, sometimes, we have to ask: who rescued whom?"
