Citizen Canine: Reservations and Policies
At Citizen Canine, we know the importance of providing quality care for your beloved dog. Whether you are planning overnight travel or a day trip, we are able to provide superb care for your dog. In order to ensure a seamless registration process, our clients should be aware of our policies regarding reservations and boarding.
Citizen Canine’s front desk is conveniently available on Sundays through Fridays (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) and on Saturdays (9:00 a.m. – 4 p.m.). Although we would like to accommodate your reservations at any time, it is important to make reservations in advance. During the peak and hoiday seasons, our boarding services can fill up a month in advance.
It is our pleasure to welcome new canine clients. However, there are eligibility requirements that must be met in order to be a guest at Citizen Canine. Our canine guests are required to be:
- Well-socialized and friendly.
- Atleast 16 weeks old.
- Continent and able to move around without assistance.
- Have completed a consultation at the Citizen Canine facility.
- Have received age-appropriate vaccinations.
- Canine guests must be neutered or spayed if they are over 7 months old.
We also require that our Citizen Canine guests stay a minimum of 2 nights on weekends and 3-5 nights over major holidays. If there is a cancellation of stay, a minimum of 72 hours is required to avoid incurring charges.
Our canine guest’s comfort level is important to us. Guests may bring toys, chewies, treats, beds, bedding, flat or limited slip collars and medications. All items brought to Citizen Canine should be labeled. We recommend that guests do not bring expensive of sentimental items that they cannot bear to lose.
Our committed team at Citizen Canine welcomes visits from new and existing clients. We look forward to seeing you soon.
